 CMS teachers take out
'Jan Jagran March',
"No Pilgrimage is better than home and school",
on 8 May

Lucknow, May 6: It is next to impossible
to find any Saint or Mahatma in any sacred
shrine of the world parallet to the children's
heart having purity, innocence and Godly light.
The real pilgrimage rests in home and school as
the God, in the form of boys and girls, can be
found here in His true appearance. Every boy /
girl, who takes birth on this earth, is pure and
bright by God's grace and its the duty of the
parents and the teachers to provide a sacred
atmosphere to them, develop character, moral and
divine qualities in them to illuminate the whole
society. To spread this feeling in the whole
society, CMS on its 50th year of establishment,
over 3000 teachers and workers of CMS are taking
out a large "No Pilgrimage is better than home
and school public awareness march" on 8 May.
Renowned educationist and the Founder of CMS, Mr
Jagdish Gandhi expressed this in a press
conference here. Addressing the media, Mr Gandhi
said that befor ebirth the child rests safely in
the womb of its mother for 9 months, so it is
pure, kind and divinely enlightened. Even after
birth, the child lives with the parents as the
property of God, thus it becomes the
responsibility of the parents to evolve the
social values like purity, kindness, compassion,
sympathy and morality in themselves and
inculcate these qualities in their children
also. Mr Gandhi informed that the huge March
will commence on 8 May at 8.00 am from Purani
Chungi and will go to CMS Kanpur Road
auditorium.
Addressing the journalists Mr Gandhi
said that this huge rally of teachers named as
"No pilgrimage is better than home and school
Jan-Jagran March" which reminds the people to
create a sacred atmosphere at home and school
and shows its importance. Mr Gandhi
said that this Jan Jagran March aims to spread
the message in the society, that each child
takes birth in its pure, kind and divine form as
His incarnation but the religiously oblivious
society and the modern education are playing an
important role in widening the distances between
the hearts of people. So, now its the
need of the hour that the parents at home and
the teachers in the school make the Godly
atmosphere respectively to inculcate altruism,
love, togetherness and fraternity in the
children. A child thus nurtured when grown up
would bind the world with the string of unity
and justice, making the earth like a family.
Mr Gandhi said that CMS has been trying since
its inception, to produce the citizens with high
ideals, culture and decency and tries every ways
and means to attain this goal. This CMS
teachers' Jan Jagran March is a new forceful
effort to direct the society to take the right
path. Mr Gandhi said that the teachers and
parents should contribute to create the sacred
shine like atmosphere at home and in school.
Mr Gandhi said that in its 50 years of
golden journey, CMS has presented innumerable
examples for social initiatives and created
social awareness. CMS students are now putting
great efforts in keeping the lamp of 'World
Unity' and 'World Peace' burning.
Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations
Officer of CMS, present in the press conference,
said that the march will start from Purani
Chungi, Kanpur Road on 8 May at 8.00 am and
change into a huge assembly on reaching CMS
Kanpur Road auditorium, where Mr Jagdish Gandhi,
renowned educationist and Founder of CMS would
speak on the purpose of the rally. Mr
Sharma informed that the principals of all the
campuses of CMS will attend the march and CMS
teachers will make a loud appeal for the
'secured future' of the two billion children of
the world while marching in the rally with the
globe and national flags of different countries
in their hands. They will also be carrying
placards of slogans, flags and banners in their
hands, appealing for maintaining the right and
just atmosphere at the home and in school to
make them acquainted with other religions.
Mr Sharma said that the people must know that
the home is the first school of a child and the
school is the light house of society. CMS is
trying that this "no pilgrimage is better than
home and school" message of its teachers should
reach the whole world. He further said that
bureaucrats, educationists, journalists, artists
and politicians etc. will attend this huge
march.

‘घर और विद्यालय से बढ़कर कोई न तीरथ–धाम’ विषय पर
सी.एम.एस. शिक्षकों का ‘जन जागरण मार्च’ 8 मई को
लखनऊ, 6 मई। संसार के किसी
तीरथ–धाम में बालक की तरह पवित्र, दयालु तथा प्रकाशित
आत्मा वाला कोई संत–महात्मा मिलना बहुत मुश्किल है। असली
तीरथ–धाम तो घर व विद्यालय ही हैं क्योंकि यहीं
बालक–बालिकाओं के रूप में परमात्मा के सच्चे स्वरूप के
दर्शन होते हैं। प्रत्येक बालक/बालिका, जो इस धरा पर जन्म
लेता है, वह पूर्णतया पवित्र तथा ईश्वरीय आभा से विभूषित
होता है, जिसे पृथ्वी पर आने के बाद माता–पिता एवं शिक्षक
की यह अनिवार्य जिम्मेवारी बनती है कि तीनों मिलकर बालक को
ईश्वरीय वातावरण प्रदान करें एवं चारित्रिक, नैतिक व
आध्यात्मिक गुणों से परिपूर्ण कर समाज का प्रकाश बनायें।
इन्हीं भावनाओं का आलोक सम्पूर्ण समाज में प्रवाहित करने
के उद्देश्य से सिटी मोन्टेसरी स्कूल की स्थापना के 50
वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में सी.एम.एस. के लगभग 3000
से अधिक शिक्षक/शिक्षिकाएं 8 मई को एक विशाल ‘घर और
विद्यालय से बढ़कर कोई न तीरथ धाम जन–जागरण मार्च’ निकाल
रहे हैं। उक्त विचार आज यहाँ आयोजित एक प्रेस कान्ेन्स में
प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद् व सी.एम.एस. के संस्थापक श्री जगदीश
गाँधी ने व्यक्त किए।
पत्रकारों को सम्बोधित करते
हुए श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि जन्म लेने से पूर्व बच्चा माँ के
गर्भ में 9 महीने प्रभु के संरक्षण में रहता है, इसलिए
बालक पवित्र, दयालु तथा प्रकाशित आत्मा से परिपूर्ण होता
है। जन्म के बाद भी बच्चा प्रभु की अमानत के तौर पर
माता–पिता के पास रहता है, अत: माता–पिता व अभिभावक की यह
जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वे पवित्र, दयालु, तथा ईश्वरीय
प्रकाश से प्रकाशित समाजोपयोगी गुणों का स्वयं अपने में
समावेश करें व इन गुणों का विकास अपने बच्चों में भी करें।
यह विशाल मार्च 8 मई को प्रात: 8.00 बजे कानपुर रोड स्थित
पुरानी चुंगी से प्रारम्भ होकर सी.एम.एस. कानपुर रोड
आडिटोरियम तक जायेगा।
पत्रकारों को सम्बोधित करते
हुए श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि शिक्षकों के इस विशाल मार्च को
‘घर और विद्यालय से बढ़कर कोई न तीरथ–धाम जन–जागरण मार्च’
नाम दिया गया है जो कि जन–मानस के मन–मस्तिस्क में घर व
विद्यालय के ईश्वरीय वातावरण की छवि दिखलाता है एवं इसकी
महत्ता से रूबरू कराता है। श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि इस
जन–जागरण मार्च को निकालने का मुख्य उद्देश्य समाज को यह
संदेश देना है कि प्रत्येक बालक पवित्र, दयालु तथा ईश्वरीय
प्रकाश से प्रकाशित होकर इस धरती पर अवतार की तरह अवतरित
होता है, किन्तु समाज की धार्मिक अज्ञानता व वर्तमान
शिक्षा प्रणाली बालकों के मन–मस्तिष्क को मानव से मानव की
दूरियाँ बढ़ाने वाले विचारों को भरने में महत्वपूर्ण
भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। इसलिए अब यह जरूरी हो गया है कि घर
में माता–पिता तथा विद्यालय मेंं शिक्षक छात्रों के कोमल व
पवित्र मन में दया, प्रेम, सौहार्द, भाईचारा आदि सद्गुणों
को विकसित करने हेतु घर व विद्यालय के वातावरण को ईश्वरीय
प्रकाश परिपूर्ण बनाएं। ईश्वरीय प्रकाश से प्रकाशित घर तथा
विद्यालय में बड़ा होकर ही कोई बालक विश्व को एकता तथा
न्याय की डोर से बांधकर सारी वसुधा को एक कुटुम्ब की तरह
खुशहाल बना सकता है।
श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि छात्रों
के सर्वांगीण विकास को समर्पित सी.एम.एस. अपनी स्थापना के
समय से ही समाज, देश व विश्व को उच्च संस्कारों से सम्पन्न
सभ्य नागरिक देने का प्रयास करता है और इसके लिए सी.एम.एस.
सभी संभव माध्यमों से प्रयासरत रहा है। सी.एम.एस. शिक्षकों
का यह ‘जन–जागरण मार्च’ भी समाज को एक नई दिशा देने एवं
जन–जागृति जगाने की एक सशक्त पहल है। श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि
इस विशाल मार्च के माध्यम से हमारा प्रयास है कि सभी
अभिभावक व शिक्षक बालक को सम्पूर्ण गुणात्मक व्यक्ति बनाने
के लिए घर और विद्यालय में तीरथ–धाम जैसा पवित्र, दयालु
तथा ईश्वरीय वातावरण निर्मित करने में अपना सक्रिय योगदान
दें। श्री गाँधी ने कहा कि सी.एम.एस. ने अपने पचास वर्षों
के स्वर्णिम सफर में सामाजिक पहल के न जाने कितने ही
उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किए हैं एवं सामाजिक जागरूकता बढ़ाई है।
यही कारण है कि सी.एम.एस. छात्र आज न सिफर् देश में अपितु
अनेक देशों में ‘विश्व एकता’ व ‘विश्व शान्ति’ की अलख
जगाये हुए हैं।
प्रेस कानफ्रेन्स में उपस्थित
सी.एम.एस. के मुख्य जन–सम्पर्क अधिकारी श्री हरि ओम शर्मा
ने बताया कि सी.एम.एस. शिक्षकों का यह विशाल मार्च 8 मई को
प्रात: 8.00 बजे कानपुर रोड स्थित पुरानी चुंगी से
प्रारम्भ होकर सी.एम.एस. कानपुर रोड आडिटोरियम में पहुँचकर
एक विशाल सभा में परिवर्तित हो जायेगा, जहाँ प्रख्यात
शिक्षाविद् व सी.एम.एस. के संस्थापक श्री जगदीश गाँधी
छात्रों के सर्वांगीण विकास एवं घर व विद्यालय में ईश्वरीय
वातावरण निर्मित करने पर अपने विचार व्यक्त करेंगे। श्री
शर्मा ने बताया कि इस विशाल मार्च में सी.एम.एस. की सभी
शाखाओं की प्रधानाचार्याएं उपस्थित रहेंगी तथापि सी.एम.एस.
शिक्षक–शिक्षिकाएं इस अवसर पर हाथों में ग्लोब व विश्व के
सभी देशों के राष्ट्रीय ध्वज हाथों में लेकर विश्व के दो
अरब बच्चों के ‘‘सुरक्षित भविष्य’’ की जोरदार अपील करेंगे।
इसके अलावा विद्यालय की शिक्षिकायें हाथों में नारे लिखे
प्ले कार्डो, झण्डों, ग्लोब तथा बैनर्स द्वारा घर और
विद्यालय से बालक में पवित्र, दयालु तथा प्रकाशित हृदय
विकसित करने के अनुकुल चरित्र निर्माण तथा सब धर्मो का
ज्ञान देने का वातावरण निर्मित करने की मार्मिक अपील
करेंगे।
श्री शर्मा ने कहा कि बच्चे की
प्रथम पाठशाला उसका घर ही है जबकि विद्यालय समाज का प्रकाश
स्तम्भ है और यह संदेश जन–जन तक पहुंचाने की आज महती
आवश्यकता है। सी.एम.एस. का प्रयास है कि सी.एम.एस.
शिक्षकों के इस विशाल मार्च के माध्यम से ‘घर और विद्यालय
से बढ़कर कोई न तीरथ–धाम’ का संदेश पूरे विश्व में
प्रवाहित हो। श्री शर्मा ने बताया कि इस विशाल मार्च में
बड़ी संख्या में प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, शिक्षाविद्, पत्रकार,
कलाकार, राजनीतिज्ञ आदि प्रतिभाग करेंगे।
